Junior Support Consultant
This full-time position is within our small Technical Service team. The role will involve application support for in-house staff, support for our in-house internet messaging service and the day to day maintenance, administration and troubleshooting involved in running our in-house EDI Bureau – a bureau which forms a link between suppliers and customers and transmits documents of different formats and standards by electronic means. Full training will be given.
Skills, Aptitudes and Experience
•Qualifications equivalent to A level standard.
•Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, some Database knowledge, knowledge of networking an advantage.
•Demonstrable interest in working with computers outside college course
•The ability to learn new technologies quickly and work pro-actively on own initiative is essential

Hours:37 hours (9.00 – 5.30 Mon-Thurs; 9.00 – 5.00 Fri)Although the role is primarily within office hours, it might entail occasional overtime or out of hours working, sometimes at short notice if an emergency arose.
Salary : £10,700 - £12,000 (dependent on experience)
