Regional Seminars - 2009/2010

BCP is participating in two trade events during April - the Logistics & Distribution Forum and IFEX Belfast 2008. It is the second time we have attended the former where we will be holding pre-arranged meetings with delegates who have expressed interest in our solutions, but it will be the first time we have exhibited at IFEX and we look forward to seeing some new faces on our stand - L6A.

This year the exhibition is being held on 5th and 6th February in the National Hall at Olympia, London.

BCP will be exhibiting, for the first time, at this year's Retail Business Show, to be held on 1st and 2nd February at Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London.

At the beginning of September BCP exhibited, in partnership with Avery Weigh-Tronix, at the Food & Meat Expo, held at the International Centre in Telford.

The event was used to showcase our ‘one-box’ integrated weighing and point of sale solution - WeighPoS - alongside a range of other Avery weighing solutions for the food sector.

The two day event proved very busy with lots of interest being shown in the WeighPoS solution.

   

In October BCP will be participating in another iTSHOWCASELive Business Software Exhibition, this time on our doorstep, at the home of Manchester United football team, Old Trafford. We will once again be showing our complete Accord solution.

BCP once again exhibited at Retail Solutions as part of the Progress BusinessEdge for Retail partnership which offers integrated solutions covering all aspects of the retailing environment.

The concept again proved interesting to visitors to the show, generating important leads for the partners involved

   

In April BCP exhibited for the first time at an iTSHOWCASELive Business Software Exhibition, where we showed our complete Accord solution, alongside a selection of other software suppliers.

iTSHOWCASELive events take place at a range of regional venues throughout the year. The April event was held on 12th April at The Walker Stadium, Leicester.

   

In February 2005 BCP once again exhibited at Logistics Link, showing our complete Accord solution.

Our main focus was, again, on our Voice enabled WMS which is now bringing enormous benefits to a number of major wholesalers, including James Hall & Co (Southport) Ltd who have virtually eliminated picking faults since they implemented Accord Voice Picking in their frozen foods department.

Highly flexible, our Voice enabled WMS is available as part of a fully integrated Accord solution, as a stand alone WMS to interface to other Order Processing and Stock systems, or as discrete Voice modules to interface to third party WMS.

The exhibition proved successful for us with an encouraging number of good quality visitors to our stand, most of whom were particularly interested in our Voice solutions.

BCP exhibited at Retail Solutions 2004 as part of Progress BusinessEdge for Retail, a powerful new partnership offering integrated solutions across all aspects of the retail environment.

The concept generated a great deal of interest, the show proving successful for all partners involved.

 

As a key supplier of retail systems, BCP was one of a select group of 18 suppliers invited to exhibit at Retail Revolution, held at the Brighton Dome, on 27th April, 2004. This special one day event was organised by Brighton City Centre Business Forum, to educate small retailers about the benefits of technology.

BCP demonstrated the complete Accord-Retailer solution, running on integrated Avery Berkel scales - an exciting new development for the retail sector.

 

In February BCP exhibited, for the first time, at Logistics Link, where we demonstrated our complete Accord solution, focussing on our Voice enabled WMS, which is available as part of a fully integrated Accord solution, as a standalone WMS to interface to other Order Processing and Stock systems, or as discrete Voice modules to interface to third party WMS.

The Exhibition proved very successful, visitors showing keen interest in our Voice offering.

 

For the second year running BCP exhibited at 'Forecourt', Ireland's leading retail and forecourt exhibition, held at the RDC in Dublin in October, 2003.

Exhibiting in partnership with Sharp, RST and HTEC, we demonstrated our best of breed Accord – Retailer Chip & PIN solution for convenience and forecourt retailing.

The Show proved very successful for all partners.

 

Exhibiting alongside one of our key business partners – Sharp Electronics – BCP once again participated in this year’s Retail Solutions exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham, early in June.

At the exhibition we demonstrated both our Accord – Retailer Chip & PIN solution for the food, drink and forecourt retailing sector and our unique Internet messaging service - AIMS.

Both solutions generated a high degree of interest from visitors to the show.
