Account Manager

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to manage and develop customer relationships for a nominated list of customer accounts. The role will focus on promoting and selling BCP’s Accord software and services to enable BCP to achieve its planned sales and margins for products and services.

To be considered for this role you must have a good overall understanding of wholesale and retail distribution, and the ability to develop specific industry and product knowledge. A full driving licence is also required.

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Identifying business opportunities and selling BCP products and services to nominated accounts.
  • Managing and developing professional relationships with nominated accounts to understand their business issues, constraints, objectives and success factors.
  • Increasing awareness and credibility of BCP’s software and services within nominated accounts.
  • Monitoring project delivery, quality of service, and customer satisfaction, and liaising internally and externally to optimise customer satisfaction while developing a profitable and sustainable business relationship.

The ideal candidates will be: 

  • Educated to degree level or graduate calibre.
  • Experienced in selling to multiple levels within an organisation. 
  • A fluent and articulate communicator who can instil confidence and build a rapport with key decision makers and influencers.
  • Consultative in their sales approach.
  • A self-reliant, motivated, team player
  • Able to use Microsoft Office. 
  • Able to drive.

New Business Sales Executive

We are looking for a New Business Sales Executive to help develop, execute and manage a successful sales strategy for our class-leading supply chain software solutions. You’ll be responsible for winning new name customers within targeted verticals.

To be considered for this role you must have at least 3 years experience of selling distribution and/or supply chain solutions in a new business role to medium and large organisations. A good overall understanding of the wholesale and retail distribution industry is also required.

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Identifying business opportunities and selling BCP products and services to prospective customers.
  • Developing professional relationships with prospective customers to understand their business issues, constraints, objectives and success factors.
  • Increasing awareness and credibility of BCP’s software and services within prospective customers.

The ideal candidates will be: 

  • Educated to degree level or graduate calibre.
  • Experienced in selling to multiple levels within an organisation. 
  • A fluent and articulate communicator who can instil confidence and build a rapport with key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Consultative in their sales approach.
  • A self-reliant, motivated, team player
  • Able to use Microsoft Office. 
  • Able to drive – a full driver’s license is required.
  • Living within an hour and a half drive from Stockport.

Remuneration

  • Competitive Salary & OTE plus car allowance
  • Pension Scheme (including PHI and Death in Service benefits)
  • 37 hour week (9-5.30 Monday – Thursday, 9-5 on Friday)
  • 22 days’ holiday moving to 27 days
