It is undoubtedly an unsettling time for wholesalers now with ongoing economic and political uncertainty, and supply and demand challenges across Europe. Our Accord software remains integral to our customers’ supply chains as they strive to navigate these challenges. Nevertheless, we are always developing new features and solutions to ensure we meet our customer’s needs and keep pace with changing market conditions.   

Accord 400, our latest software update, is available and has been successfully launched at a number of our customers. By upgrading to the latest version of Accord, these businesses increase their capabilities with a host of new features and functionality, including, Accord Connect, a RESTful web service that can open your core business functionality to external systems. 

However, upgrading to the latest version of Accord also ensures our customers can safeguard the security of their overall system. Although having an older version of Accord is not a security risk in itself, these versions rely on older operating systems such as Linux or Windows, which may no longer be supported or patched. Due to the support and security implications of this, we are encouraging all our customers, and businesses not currently using Accord, to upgrade to Accord 400. 

With cyber-attacks on the rise, we have already heard stories of businesses being crippled by ransomware. Unfortunately, the wholesale industry is one of the highest-risk industries, and so businesses cannot afford to put their operations at risk with outdated and unsupported systems.
